On November 17th, 2024, VividMomentRentals had the privilege of being a part of something truly special – Trans Fest, an event that brought together the vibrant spirit of Memphis’ LGBTQ and Trans communities. Hosted by Mid-South Trans Nation, Trans Fest is a powerful celebration that not only honors the Trans community but also uplifts and supports LGBTQ+ individuals in Memphis, TN.
Mid-South Trans Nation: Empowering the Community
Mid-South Trans Nation plays a crucial role in the Memphis area by providing resources, support, and advocacy for the Trans and gender non-conforming individuals in the region. The organization fosters a sense of belonging and safety, offering services like support groups, educational programs, and community events that empower people to live authentically. With a mission rooted in advocacy and care, Mid-South Trans Nation ensures that those in the Trans and LGBTQ communities have the resources they need to thrive.
Trans Fest: Bringing Resources and Artists Together
Trans Fest is more than just an event—it’s a gathering that connects the community with important resources and local artists. This year’s festival provided attendees with access to critical information, resources, and support from organizations dedicated to the well-being of the Trans and LGBTQ+ communities. Alongside these resources, Trans Fest brought together artists, performers, and creators, creating a dynamic space for expression, joy, and unity. It’s a place where people can come together to share experiences, celebrate identity, and support each other.
VividMomentRentals at Trans Fest: Fun, Creative, and Meaningful Photo Booth and Face Paint
As part of this year’s celebration, VividMomentRentals was thrilled to set up our signature Photo Booth and Face Painting station. Our team worked hard to make sure everyone had an unforgettable time while capturing the magic of the day.
At the Photo Booth, attendees enjoyed a variety of fun props and a completely custom photo strip design, available exclusively during the event. We also offered two different kinds of photo frames, magnets, and plastic sleeves, ensuring that everyone could take home a safe and cherished keepsake from the festival. Whether you wanted to show off your fabulous costume or simply create a lasting memory with friends, our photo booth had it all!
In addition to the photo booth, we brought our Face Painting station to life with custom Pride-themed designs. We offered designs that could be customized to fit any Pride flag colors, allowing each person to express their unique identity. Whether it was a bold rainbow flag or the subtle beauty of a Trans Pride design, our face painters were ready to bring everyone’s vision to life. But that’s not all—we also offered glitter tattoos, face glitter, and colorful hair sprays, so that attendees could fully embrace the spirit of fun and self-expression.
Giving Back to the Community
While VividMomentRentals did charge for our services at Trans Fest, we’re proud to share that a portion of our funds went directly back to Mid-South Trans Nation. This contribution helps support the ongoing work of this amazing organization and ensures that the community continues to have access to the resources and support it needs.
At VividMomentRentals, we are passionate about giving back whenever we can. It’s our goal to not only provide fun, creative experiences but also support the causes and events that make a difference. By working alongside events like Trans Fest, we can help amplify the voices of those who need it most and foster an environment of inclusivity, love, and joy.
