What is Paint Memphis?
Paint Memphis is an annual event that transforms the city’s walls into living, breathing art pieces. This incredible festival brings together artists from all over to create massive, colorful murals that showcase unique styles, powerful messages, and stunning creativity. But Paint Memphis is more than just a celebration of visual art — it’s about strengthening community bonds and encouraging artistic expression. By turning often-overlooked urban spaces into beautiful masterpieces, the event creates a sense of pride and inspiration throughout the city. The 2024 event took place at S. Willett and Lamar, filling the area with color, life, and energy.

Last year, we saw tons of new faces and had the privilege of painting on some amazing people! From intricate designs to fun and whimsical looks, face painting adds an interactive and playful element to the festival. It’s incredible to see kids and adults alike light up when they see their faces transformed into works of art.
